Reviewer Recognition

The Journal of Computers, Mechanical and Management recognises that peer review is a substantial scholarly contribution. The journal is committed to acknowledging the work of its reviewers in transparent and verifiable ways.

Acknowledgement of completed reviews

On completion of each review, the journal's editorial system sends the reviewer an automated acknowledgement email confirming the date of review completion and the manuscript identifier. This email serves as a contemporaneous record of the review and may be used by reviewers as evidence of their service for institutional, professional, or recognition purposes.

Self-recording of reviews on external platforms

Reviewers who maintain a profile on Web of Science Reviewer Recognition (formerly Publons) or comparable reviewer-recognition platforms may self-record their reviews for the journal on those platforms. The journal's editorial office will confirm a completed review in writing on request, to support such recognition. Requests should be addressed to the Editor-in-Chief at editor@jcmm.co.in with the manuscript identifier and date of review.

Future expansion of reviewer recognition

The journal is committed to expanding its reviewer-recognition activities. Planned developments include an annual published acknowledgement of reviewers in the first issue of each calendar year, and integration with structured reviewer-recognition services as the journal's indexing position evolves. Updates to this page will reflect such developments as they are introduced.

Confidentiality of review participation

Reviewers who prefer that their participation in the journal's review process not be acknowledged publicly, in any future activity, may indicate this preference at any time by writing to the editorial office. The journal's confidentiality commitments to reviewers are described on the Reviewer Guidelines page.
