Open-Access Policy

The Journal of Computers, Mechanical and Management (J. Comput. Mech. Manag.) is an open-access scholarly journal. All published articles are made immediately and permanently available online without subscription or access barriers, allowing readers to read, download, and share the published content freely.

Copyright of all articles published in JCMM is retained by the journal and published by AAN Publishing, Malaysia. Articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) License.

This license permits others to copy, distribute, adapt, and build upon the published work for non-commercial academic and research purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the journal and the original authors. Any commercial use of the published content requires prior written permission from the journal.

There is no Article Processing Charge (APC) for manuscripts submitted until December 31, 2025. For manuscripts submitted from January 1, 2026, onwards, an APC of USD 250 per accepted article will apply. APCs are requested only after final acceptance of the manuscript.

The stated APC amount is exclusive of any applicable taxes, including but not limited to value-added tax (VAT), bank transfer charges, or other statutory levies, where applicable. Any such charges shall be borne by the author(s) or the paying institution.

To support researchers who are unable to meet some or all of the costs associated with publishing Open Access, AAN Publishing operates a transparent APC waiver policy. Waiver requests may be considered upon reasonable justification and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
